Privacy Policy

1. Data Controller

The data controller for personal data collected through the Final Whistle app is Carlos Anga. Contact: admin.finalwhistle@gmail.com.

2. Data We Collect

We collect the following data when you use Final Whistle:

  • Email address — when you register or sign in with Google or Apple.
  • Game statistics — games played, streaks, correct answers, attempts per game.
  • Device identifier — generated anonymously to maintain progress without mandatory registration.
  • Usage data — in-app interactions (screens visited, session time) collected in aggregate form.
  • Username or nickname — if you choose to set one for rankings.

3. Purpose of Processing

We use your data to:

  • Authenticate and manage your user account.
  • Display rankings and personal statistics within the app.
  • Improve the service, fix bugs and develop new features.
  • Manage the Season Pass (premium subscription) via RevenueCat.
  • Send you push notifications about the daily player (only with your consent).

4. Third-Party Services

Final Whistle uses the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Google AdMob — to display ads in the free version. May collect advertising data. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy.
  • RevenueCat — to manage subscriptions and in-app purchases. Policy: revenuecat.com/privacy.
  • Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — for push notifications. Only active if you have accepted to receive notifications.
  • Google Sign-In / Sign in with Apple — for optional social authentication.

5. Legal Basis

The processing of your data is based on your consent (when registering and accepting this policy) and on the performance of the contract for use of the application (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as you have an active account in Final Whistle. If you request account deletion, we will erase all your personal data within 30 days.

7. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a user you have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Erase ("right to be forgotten") your data.
  • Data portability in a structured format.
  • Object to certain types of processing.

8. Security

We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data: encrypted communications (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords and restricted access to database systems.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app. The date of last update appears at the top of this document.
